Facilitated by specially trained coaches at GH Consulting, the coaching program provides women with expert guidance and insight to plan, execute, and manage a transition back into the workforce or into a flexible work arrangement.
Mom Corps’ Expert Coaching program ensures that it is easy and successful for everyone involved in the on-ramping process - from the candidate and their family to their employer.

Beginning in 2008, Mom Corps and GH Consulting will provide hands-on training for candidates in Mom Corps regions across the country. The new program offerings include:
- “Get Your Feet Wet”: Insight, practical tips, readings, and exercises to help you prepare yourself and your family for returning to work. This specialized package of resources empowers you for success and provides candidates with the latest trends and information on flexibility in the workforce. It also includes Personal Reflection and Planning Workbook, plus one 45 minute coaching session with a specialized coach to set direction and increase confidence.
- “Get To Work”: In-depth assessment to define strengths, talents, and objectives in returning to work. Taking this assessment and reviewing it with a coach gives clarity to a job search and allows candidates to differentiate him or herself from other qualified candidates. Includes Personal Reflection and Planning Workbook, Personal Assessment Review, plus two 45 minute coaching sessions to develop job search strategy; provides resume, interview, and negotiating tips, and work through personal hesitations and roadblocks.
- “Get Me That Job”: Guides candidates entirely through the on-ramp process: making the decision to re-enter, searching and interviewing for jobs, accepting an offer, and organizing life now as a working mother. Includes Personal Reflection and Planning Workbook, Personal Assessment Review, two 45 minute coaching sessions after returning to work in order to evaluate and organize your life for success and balance. Also includes membership in the Mom Corps Circle- members-only access to quarterly newsletters, special promotions, and products designed to enhance the success of working women.
- “Maintaining Balance” After participating in Mom Corps’ “Get Me That Job!” session, candidates are eligible to receive: A one-hour coaching session once a month for the first six months on the job to evaluate their new situation.
