Simon Monjack (b. 1970 in Hillingdon, Greater London) is a British-born writer, director, and producer. He is the widower of American actress Brittany Murphy.

Monjack was married to Brittany Murphy in May 2007 in a private Jewish ceremony.The pair did not announce their engagement beforehand, and rarely made public appearances together before their marriage. 

Monjack wrote, directed and produced  Two Days, Nine Lives in 2000.

The '8 Miles' girl Brittany Murphy dead of cardiac arrest. The Los Angeles Police Department and Coroner’s Office has ordered a full investigation into her death.

Its been investigating whether she was addicted to drugs or any other eating disorders and even prescribed medication can cause cardiac arrest.

Brittany Murphy was for the role in Eminem's ever hit album 8 miles. Brittany Murphy died today at the age of 32.
